Billie Buhck

As an artist, Billie does not separate the kitchen from the stage, or the melody from the script. Working fluidly across writing, film, music, theatre, and culinary pursuits, they create work that is felt as much as it is seen or heard. Their current projects look inward and outward to explore the delicate architecture of queer motherhood, the aching search for belonging, and the vital boundaries of consent. Through these diverse mediums, they cultivate spaces that feed both the mind and the senses, asking what it costs — and what it takes — to truly belong to ourselves and to one another.
